About you

We’re looking for someone who combines empathy with clarity, and steadiness with determination. You don’t have to have every detail already—but you do need the right values, the ability to learn quickly, and confidence in working within safeguarding frameworks.

You may be a great fit if you have:

  • Experience in domestic abuse support, safeguarding, housing-related support, social care, or a closely related field.
  • A trauma-informed approach and the ability to communicate with compassion while setting appropriate boundaries.
  • Confidence in risk assessment and the ability to act decisively when someone’s safety is at stake.
  • Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to support people through complex emotions and difficult choices.
  • Good record-keeping skills, including clear written notes, timely updates, and attention to detail.
  • The confidence to work collaboratively with professionals across different organisations and disciplines.
  • A commitment to equality, inclusion, and respectful practice—tailoring support to individual needs and circumstances.

Most importantly, you’ll genuinely care about helping people rebuild safety and independence. You’ll understand that progress often looks different for everyone—and you’ll be there for the journey, not just the destination.
